HAIR REMOVAL

At the Center for Plastic Surgery we provide two methods for hair removal. Waxing provides for a relatively simple, fast method of temporary hair removal (see details under aesthetician services). ElÕS is the system we employ for long lasting hair reduction. The system combines intense pulsed light (IPL) with radio frequency. Using two energies provides more effective results with lower energy output and decreased side effects. Unique to the ElÕS system is that it can remove hair of all colors on all skin types-even tanned skin.

Procedure Time: 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on areas treated
Anesthesia: Topical cream
Recovery: No downtime
Risks: Although rare, blistering, scarring, hypopigmentation, and hyperpigmentation have been reported.

ElÕS SKIN REJUVENATION

Utilizing the Galaxy ElÕS system, aging and sun-damaged skin can be beautifully rejuvenated with no downtime! ElÕS uses a unique combination of radio frequency (RF); intense pulse light (IPL) diode laser, and infrared light to safely rejuvenate the skin.
